AIPLA 2016 Electronic and Patent Law Summit

The AIPLA’s 2016 Electronic and Patent Law Summit is now less than a month away, June 14, 2016. Program and registration information can be found online. IP Section Members get a special rate of $195—see below for details.

With over a dozen speakers and panelists, including an Administrative Patent Judge and in-house counsel, we expect participants to receive 6.75 CLE credits (including 1.0 ethics credit). This single-day multi-session seminar will cover a broad range of topics including:

• Claim drafting considerations for patent prosecution attorneys in view of Alice and § 112 and an ethics session
• Invited perspectives from the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB)
• Other intellectual property issues that interplay with patent issues, including open source, the dark net, and trade secrets
• Reception to follow
