Topic: Civility in Conflict: Attorney Behavior in IP litigation and Practice
Speakers: Please join us as speakers Renee Rothauge, Perkin Coie LLP, and John Vandenberg, Klarquist Sparkman LLP give a presentation on civility in IP practice.
Two seasoned litigators, one a business and IP trial lawyer and the other a patent litigator, will lead an opinionated discussion of civility in IP litigation and IP practice, including views and stories from local federal Judges, how to deal with bad behavior of others, whether patent litigation suffers from relative incivility, and examples of incivility you may not have recognized as such.
National trial lawyer Renee Rothauge, of Perkins Coie LLP, has 30 years of IP and business trial experience, and is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.
John Vandenberg of Klarquist Sparkman LLP has been litigating patents since attending a 1982 patent trial as a summer associate.
MCLE Credit: Applying for one (1) ethics credit from the Oregon State Bar. In the event this CLE does not qualify for an ethics credit, general credit will be sought.
