 Speakers: Please join us as speaker Somya Kaushik gives a presentation on the impact and importance of understanding Intellectual Property license terms within commercial agreements and negotiations.

 Kaushik is a senior IP, tech and privacy attorney at Chenoweth Law Group, P.C., and is licensed in Oregon and New York. She practices both litigation and transactional IP, and negotiates and advises companies on complex licenses, protection and assignments. Kaushik is the former CEO and founder of Esq.Me, Inc., a legal document marketplace for lawyers, by lawyers and has a passion for innovation and technology. Kaushik is also an adjunct professor at the Lewis & Clark Law School where she teaches contract drafting. Upon moving to Oregon from NYC in 2018, Kaushik founded the South Asian Bar Association of Oregon.
