Join us as we mark the end of a long year by examining the stressful situations facing patent and trademark practitioners.  This Ethics CLE will help practitioners of all skills levels learn practical tips to navigate uncertain situations in IP practice, and avoid inadvertent mistakes.

Emil J. Ali advises lawyers and law firms to limit, defend, and deflect liability in regulatory and professional conduct investigations and enforcement actions before various state bars, as well as the USPTO’s Office of Enrollment and Discipline. As a registered patent attorney, Emil is regularly called upon to provide ethics counsel to IP practitioners regarding lateral movements, complex conflicts resolutions, and best practices to avoid ethics and malpractice issues.
